Day 3 (Friday) at Twin Bears started off with a quick run and strength workout prior to breakfast - which featured blueberry pancakes with the fresh picked blueberries from Thursday's hike around Granite Tors.
Our main adventure for the day was a bike ride on the Stiles Creek Loop. After a wet evening, it started pouring again over breakfast so the trail was quite a bit more wet and sloppy and also more difficult than we'd been expecting. Not to be defeated we went for it. The ladies ended up going for a bit shorter out and back ride and then came back for a hike, while the boys went for the full loop. Pictures below:

We finished the trip up on Saturday by hiking from Angel Rocks to Chena Hot Springs for close to 50 miles on the trail in three days of activity! (No pictures here as I was in charge of transferring vehicles from start to finish on the hike.) You might think all those miles would wear everyone out, but we had a rousing game of something akin to volleyball for an hour in the pool at the Hot Springs. Good times and a good trip!
