Hey Everyone,
For those of you that haven't met me already, my name is Chris Sanville and I'm Pete's new assistant coach here at FXC. I'm from White Bear Lake, MN originally and have spent the past four years in Brunwswick, ME earning a B.A. in English and Government & Legal Studies at Bowdoin College. I've been skiing since before I can remember and I've raced for the last ten years, starting here:
And winding up like this:
I've coached on a volunteer basis in Minnesota before and last summer I taught and coached skiing here:
In New Zealand. It was epic.
But now, I'm here, in Alaska, and I'm super excited about it. I look forward to meeting all of you and working with the athletes over the next year. I'm psyched to still be part of the ski world after graduation and to be finally living in a state that is almost guaranteed to not be rollerskiing in January (i.e. not in Maine...)
When I'm not coaching or training, I write the occasional article for FasterSkier or Cross Country skier. I also enjoy long walks on the Tundra.

Happy Trails.
